- Impressions from the Routerlab

- © Routerlab Team, FG INET
The routerlab is INET's very own testbed and experimentation platform. We run the experimental infrastructure of the group, including
- a dozen various routers from Cisco and Juniper
- switches from Cisco (up to 98 ports a piece)
- some 30 modern rackmount servers, with multicore (up to 8) Opteron and Intel Xeon Processors, with up to 16 Gbytes of RAM
These devices are managed and reserved
by the labtool, a custom made infrastructure
management system. Labtool is constantly improved and extended,
for example to offer and manage virtualized
resources.
If you need network resources for your
research work at INET, please contact us.
